7. Account Deletion

        You can delete your account at any time. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
    

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Family Expense Tracker app and navigate to Household from the bottom navigation or profile icon.
Scroll down to the Family Settings section.
If you are the admin of a family group, delete the family first, or transfer admin rights to another member.
Tap "Sign out" at the bottom of the Household screen.
Send an email to delete@familyexpensetracker.app from your registered email address with the subject line "Delete My Account".
We will process your deletion request within 30 business days and send a confirmation email once complete.

8. Children's Privacy

Family Expense Tracker is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
